Character Profile
I do not own this picture!
Name: Kerii Mei
Gender: Female
Age: 14
Species: Human
Home World: Earth
Allegiance: Alice's Rebel-to-be!
Personality:
With others-
Kerii enjoys being sarcastic and skeptical with friends. She can take the role of being the mother of the group, but only when no one else chooses responiblity. But if there is another person there she chooses to sit back and have as much fun as possible. When meeting someone new, Kerii likes to make a good impression, but usually it's a quiet one. She respects elders that are willing to respect her and loves children.
When insulted-
Though she likes joking around and understands when someone's playing, it's hard for her to handle serious insults. Even though it may be small, simple insults about the way she does things and how she lives can make her retreat into a hermit shell of shy, low self-esteem.
Extra-
Kerii is terrified of loneliness. She cant stand thinking about being cut off from people. She depends on them and needs someone to talk to. She tends to make it look as though she's okay, but whenever she tells someone it's alright, Kerii probably needs a hug. She doesnt have many friends, that's why she never takes a true one for granted.
Hobbies: Writing, drawing, reading, thinking, hanging out with friends, humming, cloud - watching, jogging, softball, volleyball, skateboarding, listening to music.
Physical Appearance: Kerii is 5''7, pretty built. She has dark brown hair and light brown eyes (it runs in her family). She likes wearing comfortable clothing, mostly layers. She dresses for the seasons: Tank tops in the summer, sweaters in the winter. Her shoes consist of skater shoes and make up is a no no. She loves music, so she's always wearing her headphones.
History: Kerii was born and raised to pretty much live of her own. Her parents were workaholics so she really chose friends over family. Despite what her mother and father believed, Kerii tried her best at everything and soon gave up on their praise. She turned to things that wouldnt shoot her down, like reading and writing, for she knew no matter what she read and no matter what she wrote they would never tell her things to make her sad. Kerii has no siblings, so it made her days home alone quite dull. To compunsate, she blasted the radio and sung along, taking care of herself and trying to find anything productive. Soon she would start high school, and that would bring her closer to adulthood where she would have to live on her own. But of course, that wasnt quite different than now.
One day, Kerii was bored on another dull day at home. The girl decided to go and explore. She past many shops, most were old due to her being in the early parts of her city. She past a particuar shop. A mirror shop. Now, Kerii wasnt a vain girl, she hardly ever liked looking into the mirror at herself. But they were quite beautiful and she couldnt help but take a quick peak inside.
The shop was empty save for an elderly man putting away boxes in the back. She was frankly alone at the front of the store and decided to check around. There were big mirrors, small mirrors and crazy colorful-framed ones too. But what caught her anttention was a simple mirror, as tall as her, hidden behind all the fancy ones. She pushed them aside and gazed at herself. But everyone knows reflections do everything as you do. So when Kerii saw the smirk on her face when she herself had none, and when she watched herself grab her wrist, pulling her through the mirror and away from earth itself, she found it just a bit odd.
Sample Post
Sample Post: Kerii yelped as she scraped her knees on the hard ground below. It registered in seconds this was not normal. Not when she was just in a store, browsing the mirror collection. She slowly stood, checking her damaged palms and knees. How unlucky.
Another unlucky thing would be to look up and see you were no longer anywhere near a mirror shop. Or civilization for that matter. The forest scenery would be wonderful if it werent for the fact Kerii didnt know how she got there. Behind her stood the innocent vainity mirror, shimmering in the light. She stared at her reflection, completely confused. She watched herself give the same confused look, tilting her head as she did.
Curiouser and curiouser...
